Safety precautions for semi-automatic stitching machine

1. Pre operation inspection

Check if the triangular belt of the equipment is flexible, if the punch moves up and down normally, and if there is any oil leakage.

During trial operation, turn on the switch and step on the foot switch to confirm that there are no abnormal sounds before officially starting up.

Ensure that temperature, pressure, speed, and other instruments, as well as safety valves and alarms, are in a visible and functional position.

2. Standardization in operation

Place the product in a safe position with both hands before stepping on the foot switch. Single handed operation or distraction (such as chatting or playing) is prohibited.

Hold the front of the cardboard box with your right hand and pull it forward, while using your left hand to assist in stability, but keep a distance of at least 40 centimeters from the position where the punch falls.

Non professionals are prohibited from repairing or modifying semi-automatic box stitcher machine without authorization. In case of malfunction, the power must be turned off and a warning sign reading ‘Under repair, no power on’ must be hung.

3. Safety protection measures

Operators must hold certificates and wear protective equipment (such as cut resistant gloves and goggles).
The high-speed movement of the nail head of the equipment may cause mechanical injury, and a safe distance should be maintained.

After the work is completed, turn off the power and perform semi automatic carton box stitching machine maintenance and “7S” on-site management.

4. Emergency response and maintenance

During maintenance, it is necessary to cut off the main power supply and arrange for a dedicated person to be on duty. Live working is strictly prohibited.

Regularly conduct safety training to strengthen employees’ ability to identify equipment risks (such as object strikes and squeezes).

Refer to similar accident cases (such as limit pillars flying out and injuring people), and strictly implement the inspection and maintenance work permit system.
