Unwinding Section
The paper slitting and paper cutting machine first unwinds the large raw paper roll stably through the unwinding shaft, with tension control to keep the paper flat and prevent wrinkling or deviation during conveying.
-
Slitting Process
The continuous paper web passes through a set of circular slitting blades. According to the required width, the longitudinal slitting system cuts the wide paper into multiple narrow strips simultaneously. The blade gap and pressure are adjustable to ensure clean cutting without burrs.
-
Conveying & Positioning
The slit paper strips are conveyed forward by rubber rollers or conveyor belts. A photoelectric or mechanical positioning system accurately locates the paper to ensure consistent length in the subsequent cutting process.
-
Cross Cutting Process
When the paper reaches the preset length, the transverse cutting mechanism (shear type, rotary knife or guillotine) acts quickly to cut the paper horizontally into individual sheets of fixed size.
-
Rewinding or Stacking
- If producing slit paper rolls, the slit strips are rewound into finished small rolls through the rewinding unit.
- If producing flat sheets, the cut paper sheets are automatically stacked and output in order.
- Control System
The whole process is controlled by an electric control system or PLC, which automatically adjusts speed, cutting length, slitting width and tension, realizing high-speed and stable continuous operation.
-
High Cutting Precision
Adopts precise positioning and adjustment system to ensure consistent slitting width and cutting length, with neat edges and no burrs, greatly improving product quality.
-
High Production Efficiency
Realizes integrated longitudinal slitting and transverse cutting, with stable high-speed operation, far higher efficiency than manual or semi-automatic processing, suitable for mass production.
-
Wide Material Adaptability
Can process various paper materials such as kraft paper, coated paper, cardboard, art paper and industrial special paper, meeting diversified processing demands.
-
Easy Operation & High Automation
Controlled by PLC or touch screen, with functions of automatic feeding, counting, stacking and fault alarm. Simple parameter setting reduces labor difficulty and dependence on skilled workers.
-
Stable Performance & Low Failure Rate
Reasonable structure design, durable blades and transmission parts, stable operation, low noise, less wear, effectively reducing maintenance cost and downtime.
-
Material Saving & Cost Reduction
Precise cutting reduces waste of leftover materials; automatic processing reduces labor input and improves overall economic benefits of production.
-
Flexible & Adjustable
Slitting width, cutting length and running speed can be adjusted freely according to different orders, adapting to small-batch multi-specification production.
